Activities

Throughout the week-long Rovermoot, participants will have the chance to take part in a wide variety of activities that encourage adventure, learning, and connection with fellow rovers and the local community.

Here are some of the highlights:

• Hikes of 20 km, 30 km, or 50 km (the longest option includes an overnight experience)
• Day trip to Aarhus
• Main Project: Building an authentic Viking boat
• Workshops such as blacksmithing, ropemaking, carving, carpentry, sailmaking, and more
• Rover Journey to Success: Forums, discussions, Rover International, Rover in WFIS, Pathfinder Belt
• Social Project
• Singing Contest
• Spare Time Activities: Viking Games
• International Day / Swapping Day

One of the key outcomes of this Rovermoot will be the collective construction of a Viking boat, a hands-on project completed by all participants.
