The WFIS World Rovermoot is an international gathering designed for Rovers, Rangers, and Pioneers aged 16 and above who belong to WFIS member associations. It will take place at Jamboretten, Denmark, the same campsite that hosted the very first WFIS World Jamboree.
The event will run from August 1st to August 8th, 2026, offering participants a unique chance to experience global Scouting in an inspiring environment.
Throughout the week, attendees will take part in activities focused on building friendship, cooperation, and core Rover skills. The programme strengthens both personal development and the spirit of international brotherhood. As you explore our website, you’ll discover more details about the experience and the opportunities waiting for you.
The WFIS World Rovermoot logo takes the geometry of one of the Jelling Stones (Jellingstenene in Danish) to which the WFIS fleur de lys, the rover’s stick, the silhouette of a northern ship and the Danish flag have been added.
These stones date back to the 10th century and were found in the town of Jell, about 165 km south of where the camp was held. The one applied in the logo was raised by King Gorm’s son, Harald Bluetooth. The stones are strongly identified with the creation of Denmark as a nation state. Like the creation of this first rover gathering moot.
The colours used combine the blue of the seabed surrounding Denmark, the blue of the night sky, the precious gold, white and red of the Danish flag (the oldest flag in the world) and the red of the rover brotherhood.
